RIPORT was selected to create an Early Warning & Correction Project for the internally displaced persons numbering more than 500,000. The project's value was Rs. 12,421,200 and its core function was to remove problems of coordination in the field between the donor agencies and the regulating authorities while ensuring that the relief reached the IDPS in real time.
In implementing this project RIPORT made maximum use of IT technology to create a real time grievance redressal system for the IDPS.
